Water Damage Restoration in Milwaukee, WI
Most Milwaukee water calls start below grade. A large share of the city’s houses were built before World War II, and many have older foundations and floor drains that connect to sewers. When a storm drops more rain than the system can carry, that water has one place to go: up through the basement drain.
The August 2025 storms showed how fast it can happen. A gauge in northwest Milwaukee recorded 14.5 inches of rain in 24 hours, which the Wisconsin State Climatology Office verified as a new state record. In April 2026, MMSD reported that slightly more than 400 homes in Bay View were at elevated risk of basement backups.
We pump out standing water, map moisture behind walls and under floors, and set commercial drying equipment until the readings say the job is done. Downtown is 5.8 miles from our office, about 15 minutes without traffic, and we answer the phone around the clock.
Restoration Services We Provide in Milwaukee
Water is the most common call, but it is not the only one. Fire and smoke damage in a duplex or a Third Ward loft spreads soot and odor through shared walls and ductwork, so we clean and deodorize the whole affected structure, not only the room that burned.
Storm and flood restoration covers wind damage, roof leaks and river or street flooding. Mold remediation matters here because a damp basement that never fully dried can grow mold for months before anyone notices the smell. We also handle biohazard cleanup, including sewage backups, which carry bacteria and should never be cleaned up with a shop vac and a mop.
Milwaukee Neighborhoods and Areas We Serve
We work in every part of the City of Milwaukee. On the south side that includes Bay View, Walker’s Point, Clarke Square, Layton Park, Jackson Park, Lincoln Village and Tippecanoe. On the west side we’re often in Story Hill, Washington Heights and Enderis Park, and we cover Riverwest, Sherman Park and the Historic Third Ward too.
Homes along the Kinnickinnic River deserve a special mention. MMSD says more than 600 homes and commercial buildings sit in the river’s 100-year floodplain near Lincoln Village, which is why the district has been rebuilding the channel through Jackson Park.
We also serve West Allis, West Milwaukee, Wauwatosa and Greenfield. Call (414) 381-4249 any time.
