Water Damage Restoration in Waukesha, WI
Waukesha grew up along the Fox River, and the river still drives a lot of the water damage we see here. In August 2025, after five to ten inches of rain fell on parts of the area, the Fox passed its six-foot flood stage and was forecast to crest near 8.8 feet. Longtime residents compared it to 2008. Benches and stairways in Frame Park went under.
You don’t have to live on the riverbank to end up with water in the basement, though. A sump pump that quits halfway through a summer storm can fill a lower level overnight. So can a supply line that freezes and splits in January. Older homes near downtown tend to have older drain lines and foundations, and that’s where small leaks turn into big ones.
When you call, we find the source, pull out the standing water and set commercial air movers and dehumidifiers. Then we check moisture every day until the readings say the structure is dry. Our office is about 16 miles from downtown Waukesha. With clear roads that’s roughly a half-hour drive, and we take emergency calls around the clock.
Restoration Services We Provide in Waukesha
Most of our Waukesha calls start with water. Not all of them.
- Water damage restoration for basements, finished lower levels, burst pipes and failed water heaters
- Storm and flood restoration, including river and surface water cleanup, emergency tarping and board-up
- Fire and smoke damage restoration, from soot cleanup and odor removal to repairs after a kitchen or garage fire
- Mold remediation, often in basements that stayed damp after a flood
- Biohazard cleanup for sewage backups and trauma scenes, handled discreetly
One thing worth knowing: water from the Fox River or an overloaded storm sewer counts as contaminated. That changes what can be saved. Drywall and carpet that touched it usually have to come out, and we’ll explain why before we cut anything.
Waukesha Neighborhoods and Areas We Serve
We work throughout the City of Waukesha. That includes the historic downtown east of the Fox River, the blocks around Five Points, the Riverwalk corridor near Frame Park and the newer subdivisions on the city’s outer edges. Homes near the river and in low spots see water first when the Fox rises. Calls from higher ground are usually a sump pump or a plumbing failure.
We also cover nearby Waukesha County communities, including Pewaukee, Brookfield, New Berlin, Big Bend and Genesee. Need help now? Call (414) 381-4249 any time, day or night.
